UMS Healthcare is Growing!
It's time for me to post an update on what is happening over here at UMS. First let me say "wow", the market in healthcare & medical continues to grow every day.
I joined UMS in July when we had 13 franchise offices, today we have 27 locations with 4 new offices opening this week. We are rolling! Our franchise owners have hired 40 new recuiters in the last 6 months and now we have a team of over 90 recruiters talking to our clients and candidates every day.
Our State of California account (we beat out 20 other firms to win this account) is up and running now, we made 25 placements with them last month as the exclusive provider to the state for perm healthcare workers and new facilites are getting set up with our Account Managers each week with dedicated interview times and a solid hiring process in place.
Last month I hired Renee Moore as our new Director of Training and Franchise Support. We also just added another internal position with a SendOuts Guru to help our team get the most out of our ATS along with the strong support we have been getting from SendOuts since we transitioned over to a customized version of their application back in early November. This week we posted two more open internal postions that we want to fill right away as we want to hire some Account Managers (Sales) to focus on business development with our client base.
UMS is different than other franchised staffing organizations. We provide each and every one of our recruiters with 25 fresh candidate resumes every day. We also have over 650 signed fee agreements in place that gives us a license to hunt and make placements at nearly 1000 hospitals across the country.
We released a new franchise sales website that is located at www.umsfranchise,com and have a new website in development for our Client and Candidates that will launch in early February. We also changed the company name, tag line, and logo.
We have doubled the size of the company since I came on board and we have a plan in place for 2009 that really excites me. I'm having fun and looking forward to the new year as we continue to build our business as The Medical Recruiting Experts!
